Assistant Chef
JIU ZHUANG | Dempsey Hill, Singapore
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Assistant Chef to join our culinary team at JIU ZHUANG.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef with food preparation, cooking and plating.
- Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Support daily kitchen operations and inventory management.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
Requirements:
- Experience in Chinese or Western cuisine.
- Experience in preparing Xiao Long Bao or Chinese Dim Sum is an added advantage, but not essential.
- Responsible, hardworking and a good team player.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
