Job Title: Student Care Teacher (School-Based)
We are looking for caring, responsible, and passionate Student Care Teachers to join our school-based student care teams for a 1-month contract.
If you enjoy working with children and want to make a meaningful impact in a short-term role, we’d love to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting children’s learning, well-being, and daily activities in a school-based student care environment.
Locations:
- Maris Stella High School (primary)
Contract Period:
- 2 November to 27 November 2026.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students after school hours
- Guide students in the completion of daily homework and spelling
- Plan and conduct simple enrichment activities and programmes
- Maintain discipline and implement classroom management strategies
- Build positive relationships with students and parents
- Perform administrative duties such as attendance taking and record keeping
Working Hours:
- Normal School Term:
- Monday to Friday
- 12:00PM / 1:00PM to 7:00PM
- School Holidays:
- Monday to Friday
- 9-hour shift (e.g. 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM / 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, inclusive of lunch break)
Salary:
- $11 - $12 per hour
Requirements:
- Minimum Secondary "N" / “O” Level qualifications
- Relevant experience in student care or working with children is preferred
- WSQ Student Care Certification will be an advantage
- Passionate, patient, and able to manage children effectively
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team
