Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Assistant/Chef in basic food and/or ingredient preparation including washing, peeling, cutting/slicing, chopping, heating up food etc.
  • Wash, clean & dry the kitchen dishes, utensils, pots, pans, chopping boards, kitchen equipment etc.
  • Pack takeout orders for customers
  • Clean and sanitizing the food preparation areas
  • Sweeping & mopping the floor and empty the rubbish bins
  • Receive and store supplies & food ingredients in appropriate & hygienic ways
  • Followed all food safety & hygiene guidelines and standards.
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements

  • Preferably with 1 year's relevant experience in general kitchen operations, food safety & hygiene guidelines and practices, etc.
  • Minimum primary school education and with valid food safety course level 1 certificate in a fast-paced environment
