Role Overview
The Service Crew is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations in the restaurant. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a positive dining experience for all customers.
A Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking traditional Indonesian dishes, particularly penyet-style meals where ingredients are freshly fried and smashed with sambal. The role requires efficiency, consistency in taste, and adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide customers’ dining and restaurant experience
- Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times.
- Full knowledge of food and beverage menu items including major components of a dish/drink; this may include ingredients and their source, simple descriptions of unfamiliar ingredients.
- Confident and correct use of POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Ensure customers are charged correctly and receive proof of payment in a timely manner.
- Engage management for any guest issue or complaint.
- Stocking and preparing service related items.
- Follows recipes, portion control and presentation specifications as assigned by the Company.
- Ensure compliance to regulatory of food safety, quality, health and hygiene standard times.
- Prepare, cook food and present food effectively and efficiently, meeting the Company’s standard.
- Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards as set by the Company.
- Proper labelling of all food items after preparation, maintaining stock level of all products and ensuring correct rotation by FIFO
