Ember Woodfire Restaurant is looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager to join our growing team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you.
The Role:
As the Assistant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth service, high food quality, and a great guest experience. You will lead by example and motivate the team during peak hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate service and kitchen staff. Create staff schedules and manage shift rotations.
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Quality Control: Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are strictly maintained.
- Inventory: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and minimize wastage.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role (F&B experience is a plus).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts (weekends and public holidays required).
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
