As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the restaurant, drive outlet sales and profitability, manage manpower planning and ensure excellent food quality and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities'
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth guest flow, efficient table allocations and high service consistency.
- Achieve sales targets and control operation costs.
- Monitor outlet profitability and labour productivity.
- Monitor the POS system, manage proper cash-handling procedures and generate operational report as per management requirements.
- Review outlet performance and implement improvement plans.
- Control food, beverage and labor cost to stay within budget targets.
- Conduct regular inventory checks, manage ordering, and minimize wastage or operational spoilage.
- Actively engage with diners, build lasting relationships with customers and handle complaints or special requests tactfully.
- Foster a collaborative, high-energy working culture that bridges generational gaps between veteran employees, younger service staffs and part-timers.
- Manage weekly staff rostering and optimize manpower requirements.
- Conduct regular briefings, identify areas for improvement and provide ongoing coaching..
- Oversee the onboarding, training and recruitment of new team members.
- Lead, motivate and develop the Front of House team to achieve service and sales objectives.
- Enforce strict compliance with food safety, workplace hygiene and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all staff maintain immaculate personal grooming standard in line with brand image.
- Able to work in fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Minimum 3-5 years of full -service restaurant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
