AOKI is an established Japanese fine dining restaurant since 2003.
We are looking for hardworking and passionate individuals to join our kitchen team as Assistant Sushi Chef or Assistant Kitchen Cook.
Have experience in Japanese cooking? Great! No experience but willing to learn? We welcome you too!
Job Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in preparing sushi, sashimi and Japanese dishes.
- Wash, cut and prepare fresh ingredients such as seafood, meat and vegetables.
- Prepare ingredients and kitchen supplies for daily operations.
- Ensure food quality and proper food storage.
- Keep the kitchen and work area clean and tidy.
- Work together with the kitchen team during service.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef.
Job Requirements
- Experience in Japanese restaurants is an advantage.
- No experience? Training will be provided.
- Willing to learn and follow instructions.
- Hardworking, responsible and a good team player.
- Able to work 6 days a week, including weekends and Public Holidays.
