Torikami is looking for vibrant, guest-oriented Service Crew members to join our
front-of-house team. As the face of our restaurant, you will ensure our guests receive
warm, authentic Japanese hospitality while enjoying our premium Yakitori.
Location and Schedule
Work Location: Maxwell
Work Schedule: 5.5-days (44-hour) work week (Shift-based)
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome and seat guests with a warm smile, taking
reservations, and managing the floor flow
- Order Taking: Explain the Yakitori menu (different chicken parts) and
recommend drinks (Sake, Shochu, Beer) to guests
- Food & Beverage Service: Serve skewers and drinks promptly while
maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Table Management: Clearing tables, resetting for the next seating, and
ensuring the dining area is pristine at all times
- Cashiering: Handle billing and payment transactions accurately using our
POS system
- Teamwork: Work closely with the Kitchen Crew and Chefs to ensure a smooth
dining experience
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years experience in F&B or hospitality
- Communication: Good command of English (Ability to speak basic Japanese
or Mandarin is a plus, but not required)
- Personality: Outgoing, proactive, and passionate about providing excellent
customer service
- Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility: Able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Good to have
- Experience working in the F&B industry, including a Japanese restaurant
- Basic Food & Hygiene Certified
