We are looking for a detail-oriented FPI Technician to perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection on aircraft engine components and ensure parts meet strict aerospace quality standards.
We are looking for a detail-oriented FPI Technician to perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection on aircraft engine components and ensure parts meet strict aerospace quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) on aircraft engine components according to process travellers and operation sheets.
- Review test orders to identify required test methods, procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare components for inspection by applying cleaners, penetrants, developers and other required agents.
- Inspect parts to identify and assess surface discontinuities.
- Follow approved NDT procedures, work instructions and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and production documentation.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the work area and on equipment.
- Comply with company, quality and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- GCE O-Level / NITEC / Higher NITEC / Technical Certificate or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in NDT, FPI, inspection or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
- Able to read and understand process travellers, operation sheets and technical instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and good visual inspection skills.
- Able to follow procedures accurately and work independently.
- Safety-conscious, disciplined and quality-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.
