Junior Application Engineer (1-Year Contract) – Up to $3,200 + Monthly Incentives
Salary: Up to $3,200 + Performance Incentives
Contract: 1 Year (Renewable)
Location: East, Singapore
Benefits: 1-month completion bonus upon successful completion of the 1-year contract.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers and sales representatives on product applications, specifications and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues via phone, email and on-site visits.
- Conduct product application testing, system setup and fine-tuning.
- Provide post-sales technical training to customers.
- Prepare and update technical manuals and training materials.
- Assist sales teams with technical demonstrations when required.
- Support continuous improvement of technical support processes.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related Engineering disciplines.
- Less than 3 years of relevant experience are welcome.
- Familiarity with logic control, HMI programming and industrial communication protocols (e.g. Modbus TCP, Ethernet, EtherNet/IP).
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, PLC, servo motors or programming languages (Python, C#, Java, SQL) will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Willing to travel to customer sites for technical support.
